New Feature: Registration Forms

Build a registration form, share the link, and let attendees sign up before your event. Optionally, only allow registered attendees to check in.

You asked for a way to collect attendee info before the day of the event. Registration Forms are here.

Build a form in minutes, share the link or QR code, and attendees can sign up on any device - no app needed. Everyone who registers is automatically added to your Members list, and their name is remembered so check-in is just one tap when they arrive.

What you can do

  • Build a custom form: add as many fields as you need - name, email, phone number, a dropdown, a long text answer, or a checkbox. Mark any field as required.
  • Share a public link: every form gets its own URL and QR code. Send it by email, post it on social media, or print the QR for your flyer.
  • Registrants become members automatically: when someone submits the form, they're added to your Members list right away. No manual work needed.
  • One-tap check-in: after registering, the attendee's name is saved in their browser. When they arrive and scan the check-in QR, their name is already filled in - they just tap Check In.
  • Gate check-in by registration (Professional): turn on "Require registration" on any event and only people who have filled out your form will be allowed to check in.

Setting up a registration form

  1. Go to Registrations in your dashboard and click New Registration.
  2. Give the form a name and make sure it's set to Active.
  3. Add your fields. Each field has a label, a type, and an optional "Required" toggle.
  4. Save. The public URL and QR code appear at the top of the form page - copy or share from there.

That's it. Attendees can start registering straight away.

Requiring registration at the door

Want to make sure only people who registered can check in? Here's how:

  1. Open an event in your dashboard and go to Check-in Settings.
  2. Enable Require registration and pick your registration form.
  3. Save the event.

When someone tries to check in, EntriScan checks whether their name is on the registered list. If it is, they're let through. If not, check-in is blocked and they're told to complete the registration form first.

If the name entered is slightly off (e.g. "Sara" instead of "Sarah"), EntriScan will suggest the closest match and ask the attendee to confirm before deciding. This avoids blocking someone just because of a small typo.

Where to see who registered

Open any member's profile from the Members page and go to their Registrations tab. You'll see every form they've submitted and the answers they provided. Because registrants are saved as members, your whole registered list lives in one place alongside your attendance history.
