New Feature: Check-out Tracking

We're excited to announce Check-out Tracking, now available on the Professional plan.

Until now, EntriScan tracked when attendees arrived at your events. With check-out tracking enabled, attendees can also scan out when they leave, giving you a full record of each person's time at your event.

What's new

• Enable per event: toggle "Enable check-out" in the event settings form.
• Scan to check out: attendees visit the same check-in page and tap the check-out button after scanning their QR.
• Timestamps in attendance reports: the Entries table in your dashboard now shows both check-in and check-out times side by side.

How it works

Once you enable check-out tracking on an event, the check-in page that attendees visit will show two actions after they scan their QR code: Check in and Check out. Attendees tap Check in on arrival and Check out when they leave.

The system records an exact timestamp for each action. Both times are visible in your attendance dashboard under Attendance → Entries, so you can see who was present, when they arrived, and how long they stayed.

Setting it up

1. Open or create an event in your dashboard.
2. In the event settings, scroll to Check-in Settings and enable Enable check-out.
3. Save the event. The check-in page for that event now includes a check-out option.
4. Share the event QR as you normally would. Nothing changes for attendees at the door.

Reviewing check-out data

Go to Attendance → Entries in your dashboard. The table now shows a Checked out at column with the exact date and time each attendee left. If an attendee didn't check out, the column shows a dash.

You can use this data to calculate dwell time, enforce minimum attendance requirements, or simply keep a complete record for compliance purposes.

Who can use it

Check-out tracking is available on the Professional plan and above. If you're on the Free plan, upgrade from your dashboard to unlock it.
